| Do I get to teach kids Anti Obama songs now? | | Many of you know that I play and teach guitar. I get to start teaching group lessons in an after school program at a local elementary school. I'm really looking forward to helping the kids develop a love for the guitar and making music in general. A thought occured to me though, I wonder how Obama supporters would feel if I taught the kids songs with anti obama lyrics. Doesn't that sound like a lot of fun? I could even parody the Hmmm Hmmm Hmmm, Barack Hussein Obama chant. These individuals say we need to put down our labels an come together for the good of the nation. Now we have the man of hope, the man that was going to end partisanship in Washington as President. Which Obama has. Every time a piece of Obama agenda come to Congress a large chunk of Congressional Democrats side with the the Republican block. | REALLY? It NEVER Happened? Did We Imagine It? | | Since last fall, I and MANY other people here at MyLot and out in the world have been falsely accused of racism for questioning 0bama's actions or opposing his agenda. Not only were we called "racist", but also "white sheet wearers" and other horrible things. It happened OFTEN. MyLot eventually deleted many of those hateful posts, but the fact remains that it happened and continues to happen. I recently attempted to illustrate that it is not right to do it by making sarcastic comparison to people who criticize the had of the GOP, Michael Steele who is also black. I said that if it is not racist to criticize Steele then it is not necessarily racist to criticize 0bama.
